LCD Soundsystem and Arcade Fire On Stage Together

What an incredible surprise for everyone who attended the Madison Square Garden show on Saturday night.

Two of our generation's best bands, Arcade Fire and LCD Soundsystem, on stage together to perform North America Scum.

The crazy thing is, these two bands did a joint US tour together from September 17th to October 16th in 2007.

I would have given my left ear to go back and see that show. Yup, I would have Van Gogh'd it to see that magic on stage in their prime.

While on tour, they released a split 7" single with LCD Soundsytem's cover of Joy Division's No Love Lost and Arcade Fire's cover of Serge Gainsbourg's Poupee de Cire, Poupee de Son.
